IT system maintenance will take place between 09:30 (BST) and 12:30 (BST) on Thursday 26 April 2018. This is an ELEXON IT systems outage and will not affect the BSC Central Systems.
We have been informed by Electralink that some data flows sent to BSC Parties via the Data Transfer Network (DTN) on Thursday 19 April 2018 were not delivered.
There will be a period of planned downtime for the Balancing Mechanism Reporting Service (BMRS) between 17:00 (BST) and 17:30 (BST) today, Wednesday 18 April 2018. The planned downtime is required to resolve an issue relating to the processing of System Warnings on BMRS.
Further to Circulars EL02791 and EL02798, ELEXON has resolved the issue relating to the Generation Capacity (GC) and Demand Capacity (DC) values. Re-declarations can now be processed as required. Any outstanding submissions from 29 March 2018 to 13 April 2018 have been processed with an effective from date of 17 April 2018.
If a Non Half Hourly Data Aggregator (NHHDA) does not submit data for a Settlement Date, the Supplier Volume Allocation Agent (SVAA) will use default data to avoid zero data entering Settlement.
The SVAA was unable to use default data in Settlement calculations between 29 March 2018 and 5 April 2018 (excluding 3 April) due to a system issue. For these dates, where a NHHDA did not submit data, zero metered volumes were used. In order to correct this issue and avoid any impact on Settlement, Settlement Re-Runs were completed on 13 and 14 April 2018.
Further to Circular EL02794, the 2018/19 SVAA Calendar was distributed in the D0286 (Data Aggregation and Settlements Timetable) File with an incorrect date range. A corrected D0286 file has been distributed to all Data Aggregators (DA).
Further to Circular EL02791, ELEXON is still experiencing issues processing re-declarations of Demand Capacity (DC) and Generation (GC) values for Supplier BM Units. Until this issue is resolved, we ask that Parties do not submit BSCP15/4.4 (Mid-Season Changes of Positive and Negative BM Unit Metered Volume Estimates) forms as these cannot be actioned.
IT system maintenance will take place between 12:00 (BST) and 18:00 (BST) on Thursday 12 April 2018 (not 14:00 as previously stated).
IT system maintenance will take place between 14:00 (BST) and 18:00 (BST) on Thursday 12 April 2018. This is an ELEXON IT systems outage and will not affect the BSC Central Systems.
Multiple Non Half Hourly Data Aggregators (NHHDA) have not submitted data for an Interim Information (II) Settlement Run. As a result, default data is being used by the Supplier Volume Allocation Agent (SVAA).
The 2018/19 SVAA Calendar was distributed in the D0286 Data Aggregation and Settlements Timetable File with an incorrect date range, thereby meaning that all Run dates relating to Payment Date 2 May 2018 and beyond were not provided.
Further to ELEXON Circular EL02790, we have been notified by National Grid that the Balancing Mechanism (BM) planned outage scheduled for today, Tuesday 10 April 2018 has been cancelled.
UDMS Non Half Hourly Data Aggregator (NHHDA) has not submitted data for a number of Settlement Runs across a number of Settlement Dates. As a result, default data is being used by the Supplier Volume Allocation Agent (SVAA).
Currently BSC Systems are unable to process re-declarations of Demand Capacity (DC) and Generation Capacity (GC) values for Supplier BM Units.
Any DC or GC declarations that have been sent since 29 March 2018 have not been processed.
We have been notified by National Grid that there will be a Balancing Mechanism (BM) planned outage between 10:10 (BST) and 13:40 (BST) on Tuesday 10 April 2018. Updates will be posted on the System Warning page on the Balancing Mechanism Reporting Service (BMRS) before and after the planned outage.
ELEXON has been advised by one of the Market Index Data Providers (MIDPs), EPEX SPOT power UK, of a planned outage due to take place on Tuesday 10 April 2018 between 18:40 (BST) and 21:15 (BST). This means the Market Index Data used to calculate the Market Index Price will not be provided to BSC Central Services by this MIDP during this outage.
EL02788 : Removal of duplicated records for Maximum Import Limit (MIL) and Maximum Export Limit (MEL) data on BMRS
Further to ELEXON Circular EL02773, ELEXON has removed all duplicate MIL/MEL data on the Balancing Mechanism Reporting Service (BMRS). As a result, any queries on the BMRS website or the APIs will no longer return duplicated records.
EL02787 : BMRS: Delays in the publication of Settlement Calculations for Settlement Period 27 and 28
Due to an issue with the Balancing Mechanism Reporting Service (BMRS) the publishing of Settlement Calculations for Settlement Periods 27-28 (inclusive) was delayed. The issue has now been resolved and the Settlement Calculations have now been published on the BMRS and all data has now been sent via TIBCO and the Data Push Service.
