What are Category 1 Configurable Items?
Category 1 documents are defined in BSCP40 and can only be changed by a Change Proposal or a Modification, these documents are:
- Balancing and Settlement Code Procedures (BSCPs);
- Business Definition Documents (encompassing Data Catalogues, the Reporting Catalogue, the Communication Requirements Document) (BDDs);
- Codes of Practice (CoPs)
- Description of physical interfaces in Settlement Software Documentation
- Interface Design Documents (IDDs); and
- Party Service Line (PSL100);
Other items treated as Category 1 documents are:
- The Market Index Definition Statement (MIDS)
- The Code Subsidiary Documents Architectural Principles document
